I don't know what to do, my sister tried to cut herself the other day. I can't help but wonder if it is all my fault. What if I exposed her to it?? I feel so bad. What if she picks up on all my other bad habits? I don't want her to do what I do.

I\'m so sorry to hear about your sister, it sounds like she might be younger. Is she? It\'s not your fault that she tried to cut, I think the only thing you can do for her is talk talk talk. Do your parents know if they don\'t you HAVE to tell them because if there is a next time she might not be so lucky. I hate when people say this BUT do you think it is for attention? Good luck honey I hope everything works out for the both of you.

yeah she is younger
my sister tried it as well, i also feel like its my fault. but she did it for attention from her b/f. i do it cuz im addicted and it makes me calm down. my sis is 4 years younger than me.
my sister is 9!
nine is very young. but hopefully it was just curiosity. we used to carve initials into our arms in seventh or eighth grade. it was nothing serious. it was interesting but it didn\'t last and everyone went on about how it could cause infection. then everyone went through the pierce their own ears, which was just plain stupid. espeically when its so cheap and easy to have it done at the mall.
hopefully its nothing. i think when people react too much it actually CAUSES MORE trouble not less. all kids try out the world. they are SUPPOSED to they just got here. how else are they going to learn the world without trying it.
