forces we all deal with
at a certain point, i need to stop asking so many questions
and realize we're all dealing with the questions of life - with the animal forces inside us
- -perhaps looking for the perfect heart or perfect validation that would finally fill us up -
that would be a point of departure for the beginning of life ahead -
at a certain point - we have to take on life - the responsibilities - the goals and work
and also the questions of trust - trusting someone enough to invite them in -
but also being well aware that we're all human.
I like it here at the monastery - but I feel like i want a specific mission to take care of -
to grow it or just make it successful - maybe i am not meant to be here at all - or only as a visitor
I already am the driver - and the person who should greet everyone (since it's something I naturally do -
the Abbess wants me to cultivate that with everyone - she said it's really important.)
Anyways - I have therapy in a moment. Keep on keeping on.
There was a baptism today in the lake with ice floating on the water.

"need to stop" is one of my psycho nag flags. it tells me i'm shoulding around again and listening to my big head again instead of my sadly neglected heart. ditto for the royal we. worrying about the inner workings of other people has yet to get me far.

for my own questioning nature, i believe that accepting myself as i am has helped me learn how to form more pertinent questions.
practice, practice, practice could make a dandy specific mission.

People are complicated and complex and troubled by their own things. I think that’s important to understand when figuring out who to trust and where motivations come from.
So I guess my point is, we can work on self improvement and personal growth all we want, but knowing how to maneuver interpersonally is the real meat and potatoes of figuring out the answers to many of life’s questions.
Being baptized in icy waters sounds like the polar bear plunges humans do in large groups for fundraising causes in wintry places.

To try and be perfect is very hard on you sweetie..... I used to rent from a guy that was a perfectionist and he was painting a spare bedroom.... He painted pretty much every weekend and I'm not exaggerating .... Over a year later he was still painting that bedroom on the weekends trying to fix his perceived mistakes
