Follow up

So on April 22 I have a follow up appointment with my neurologist.  I'm really looking forward to this appointment because I'm anxious to ask why my bottom lip will feel hot off and on almost everyday.  And just ask what I should expect being pain free, how long can the pain free last, will it most likely return eventually?  Also wanted to ask the neurologist if pain does return what kind of surgical treatment can I look into that won't cause the side of my face to be permanently numb?  I'm really looking forward to this appointment.  I'll make sure to write in my journal after my appointment.
