Five Years
Missing my son today..well every day. But today is his angel date and it just hurts. I have to work today since we have inservice training today and tomorrow. This is the first angel date since Ed passed that I have worked (I usually take the day off) so my sisters and friends please keep me in your prayers because I need to make it through the day. I talked to my program director and told her I may need to take breaks or go for a walk. She was very supportive.
Eddie, I love you and miss you desperately. Tonight, your children and Ken and I, Mike H., will have dinner in your honor. I made all your favorites..so wish you were with us. But we will celebrate your life. Donna came by with flowers for you. You are loved and will never be forgotten. I am doing ok, by God's grace.

A man in our Compassionate Friends group celebrates his son\'s life every year at his son\'s favorite restaurant. He said that over the years this has become a truly happy event! Friends & family share happy memories; everyone looks forward to this dinner! I hope tonight will be equally special for you as you think of Ed with joy!
