First ultrasound!

I am allowing myself to breathe a tiny sigh of relief after visiting my doctor today. The appointment went great and although it is a little early--I was able to see the forming of the sac and he said it looked great!! I haven't had a good ultrasound (or even appointment for that matter) yet so it was like OOOOHHH this is what its like on the "other" side. But I am still holding back. Typical freak outs from little pains or lessening symptoms but I can't escape that. Not sure where I would be without DS. All the women on here are like little angels that came in my life. The ability to be so supportive and positive when your own heart is breaking is baffling. *Right now my DH is making up a jingle for DS and its cracking me up! LOL* Anyway, so far so good. I have another ultrasound next Monday and they drew more blood so I will hear my new numbers tomorrow!! Also my OB had a long talk with me today about me being "high-risk" because of a clotting disorder, on Lovenox, and previous pregnancy loss. So what does that mean for me? Limited lifting, no sex (actually total pelvic rest) and lots of resting and hydration. DH wasn't too thrilled (guess which part?? LOL)

You can do this, all are survivable, although not necessarily easy. I believe in you girl, and I am so happy you are getting some happy appointments in there!

It is wonderful that you saw a sac...that is a great sign! High risk...yeah sounds all too familiar to me! But, at least they will be watching you like a hawk. xxx

I\'m glad your u/s went well!! Good luck at your next u/s...I\'m sure everything will be moving along perfectly :) I\'ve been on pelvic rest also (early low-lying placenta), since the beginning of my 2nd tri (I\'m 19 weeks tomorrow), I think DH is doing better with it than I am!! It\'s driving me crazy!! One more week and I find out if I can be \"normal\" again!
