First thoughts
OK so I am completely awake and my mind is being stubborn. It never fails whenever I try to sleep that's when the thoughts pop into my mind.
What am I going to do when he goes in?
Can I handle his mom breaking down all the time?
Will I beable to let my emotions out without going into a downward spiral of depression?
What if something happens while he is in there?
These are only some of the questions that seem to plague me while trying to get a decent night sleep while I still have him with me for another month. Maybe that's the part that is difficult. Facing the reality that after a year and half there is going to be a judge that says you sir are going away for such amount of time. No matter that you didn't intend for this thing to happen but still the law is the law and it is what it is so just deal with it.
That sad part is to know that I won't have his touch when I am sick. We won't be together for birthdays and holidays. Somehow I have to find the strength after allowing myself a few days of tears and grief to pick up the pieces and make sure that he has a home and better life to come home to when he does get out.
Remember that you have kept things together thus far and will continue to be a strong woman. Be strong for him because that is what he needs, for me to be strong and to continue on.
