First Mother's Day without you

Well I just realized the other day that this will be my first Mother's Day without my Vic. Talking to our first born tonite & I cried remembering so many things...how last year he made me a special breakfast.  I am not good with words, but just want to let everyone on here know that we are all strong, & will get through our tough times, I cried a lot tonite... but that is not necessarily a bad thing... I felt better after my cry. Peace be with our souls.

We never had the blessing of children. It just wasn\'t meant to be. We had a dog for 17 years and then now another one who just turned six this month. We would call each other Mommy and Daddy in front of the dog who actually got to know what that meant. I would always use that opportunity to make sure she had a Mother\'s Day card, gift, whatever. And she would do the same on Father\'s Day. I\'m certainly not comparing dogs to children but it was another excuse to have a special day for each other :)

Yes crying is not necessarily a bad thing. It is sometimes surprising when it hits you all of a sudden and you\'re not sure why.

Yes we will get through this.

Peace.
