First Holiday without the grandkids
This is my first Thanksgiving without my step-daughter and her family. She moved to another state, it's drivable, but not an easy one. So, this year she spent with her in-laws. It's strange not seeing the little ones.
It's Thanksgiving, not much celebrated in my small family, at least not in the way most families celebrate. Today I went to my dad's house. Ate a salad while he had a nice bacon sandwich. Like I said, not celebrated the way others celebrate. I had a nice time. And now for Xmas.

We had our Canadian Thanksgiving in October. It came and went. It was just another day for me. Nothing new. Yours seem to have past just the same. God bless you for being in my life now.
I completely understand. The family on both sides for me is small and my dad just passed away last month and I have major issues with my mom so it was very different this year. We do the best we can, though....glad you had a nice day.
