First Day Back at Work

Today is my first day working at the site.  I am just five days out from my stay at the mental hospital.  I guess it matters that I received three massive doses of Thorazine.  I am in a mental fog all the time.  I am sure the other drugs and my symptoms will all be tough to hide.  I have three high-level meetings that I need to be a big participant.  And then there are the security requirements.  Everyone will see that I can only have a red badge.  Very embarrassing and socially isolating.  So it will be a very fun workday.

Thorazine has a prolonged terminal elimination phase of up to about 3 weeks....so it takes a while to escape the brain fog. Its one of the main reasons it's not used outside of a hospital and one of the main reasons it's not used in hospital unless really necessary.

You have to give yourself time on this one and just let your body get it out of the system and get back to normal. It will pass but it takes time and you got some hefty doses in a short time.

This too shall pass....and your brain will get back to regular smart mode.

Thor, sometimes we can act on automatic pilot even through a fog. Suggest you stop being hard on yourself for the red badge. In your mind, it makes you feel less than, but that's not helping you. Hugs.
