First Appointment

I have been meaning to give ya'll the update on my first baby appoinment.
But, I have been so busy because my poor dad was back in the hospital. For the past 3 years he has had to spend at least a week in the hospital, in 2012 he had Congestive Heart Failure which lead to a stroke. In 2013 he had Congestive Heart Failure again due to the fact that he went off his medication thinking he was doing fine. Now this past month he flew over the handle bars of his electric scooter and lacerated his kidneys and bruised his ribs pretty bad, he came home 2 weeks ago and he is still recovering, he is weak and tired all the time, but everyday he feels better and better. I swear this man is gonna give me a nervous break down. LOL. But, I know I am in a fragile state and I need to take care of myself first and foremost.
So anyways, on July 15th at 9:30 am, I had my first sonogram and it was very emotional for me, as soon as that baby popped up on the monitor I almost burst out into tears. It was moving all over and the sonographer was surprised at how active it was. I found out that I was 4 weeks further along than I thought, my due date changed from Jan 31st to Jan 8th.
I don't know the gender yet, and I am super anxious to find out. I would LOVE to have another girl, just cause I have all girl stuff tucked away from Addy, but I ofcourse would love a healthy happy boy as well. The rest of the appointment was just them asking a million questions about my family medical history.
