finding the balance arfie and Mid talk about
I was working on some ideas yesterday - I found that very often if my projected
goals or planned actions didn't have a known element to them - then they were
NOT ok to do...I am not really describing it totally - but I started to challenge my
assumptions yesterday about what it is I wanted or needed to do with my free time.
Realizing that stuff I chose to do - didn't need to be perfect - and it made illuminated
the happy grey area of just 'getting on with my day' and activities -
This morning I woke up and the same kind of thought process came to mind -
but then it went to the extreme in the opposite direction -
and I came on dailystrength and just reread a journal and was reminded of and remembered
the need for balance in all things. If the string is too loose the instrument will not play -
if the string is too tight - the string will break.

You are doing an awesome job of making what happens in thought process that it is working. Sometimes, it works in unexpected ways. Hurrah!
thanks Mid!
Extremes can only be balanced with another extreme. Ya can't balance a marble statue with a cut diamond. You will need allot of eagle feathers to counter the weight of a cut diamond.
When I first started studying Life's many questions of balance, my trauma wounded brain sought to find a once and for all balance I would never need to balance again. My moves away from that control-freakery began with meditations of Real Time, physical balance. Standing on one foot and riding a bicycle were/are my most effective meditations for this understanding. Balance is an on-going adventure. The balance which allows me to stand on one foot will alter as my muscles tire. A balanced bicycle take off is invalidated the moment take off is complete and continues to change for every factor I bicycle across. One balanced meal does not make a balanced diet. Etcetera, etceteri through life's endless motion.
I am glad that some great member's are helping sweetie.... I learn a lot on here as well..... Big hug....xo
thanks arfie and thanks Jan! xx
Continued well wishes for your balance Markus. Whatever that entails for you, it sounds like you’ve got a state of mind to wrangle any unsteadiness. Remember when balancing everyone need time to rest and lean a bit for support. There’s so shame in that.
Thanks Nikki!
