Finally out of the Hospital

Hi everyone,  It has been a rough almost 2 weeks.  Went to Indianapolis with friends to be with her during her surgery.  Finally it kept getting booted later and later, so we had to leave to get back home for the puppy.  About an hour into the trip home, I started feeling really bad.  Not a good place to be in our convertable car and sick.  Didn't take long till the feeling bad became a desperate feeling horrible.  By nine that night,, I was at the emergency room.  Started my lovely journey of being put on hold,  waiting, upchucking until you think there is no more, unbearable pain and waiting.  Got to the emergency room pretty empty, but that didn't last long, who thought it would 2 ambulances to follow so I was sorta pushed to the back side for sure.  Finally, help came.  Then the unpleasant turned into the very unpleasant to just horrible.  Had to put thing up nose, not a fun thing to do, then given these pain meds that made my body shake and jerk at least that is what I thought, taken to get a cat scan of the stomach, bowels.  Yep there it was a bowel obstruction!!
Long story short:  Doctor's answer's to everything:  "I don't know"
But the cat scan, "That's what they say, I don't know.
Finally after what seemed like forever, and after forever "I don't know" off to surgery started at 10, so he said (dr) but got booted back over and over, real time surgery started at 5 p.m.
The rest of the story, yep that's what it was, took care of it,  it will come back, cut from top to bottom almost.  Lots of pain.  LOTS.  Finally, home for recovery not to say with out some really bad days when the bowels are trying to wake up., taken off all meds pain meds at one time.  More pain, horrible pain, but now starting to work on getting better.
Ken was with me the whole way, I could see him, he talked to me through it in my mind, told me God had things for me to do.  Felt his presence all around me.
So now will try to get back to the living after several days of extreme pain.
Will it come back, probably, I grow a lot of scar tissue or adhesions and they seem to really like my bowels.  Not sure how this blockage came about but the last time I had this the adhesions had made a nice little bow around my intestines, blocked everything.  Oh dr did say one other thing, Yes it was a lot of adhesions, I cut them off and trust me it feels like my stomach has been cut for turkey and it will come back other than that, I am leaving for the holiday, good luck and famous last words, Question asked: When can this come back; Answered:  "I don't know.!"
It has been 25 years since the last time and I am really praying this will be the last time.
