Finally Have Medicare!
I've been busy with doctors appointments and getting stuff done. I have Medicare now, so all my appointments are free. I saw my therapist today and we just covered everything that happened in the 2 months since I last saw her. Now I can see her 2 times a month and I like that. Before it was only once a month, and it was like today- playing catchup. But now I can do things like work on my issues again. She said I looked a lot better.. the last time I saw her I was in a bad place so I didn't look that great. Not that I looked great today- frizzy hair, no makeup and just in jeans and a tee but my aura was different.
I do feel a lot different, too. Going to the hospital (clinic) was the right thing. I came out of there doing much better and didn't have my normal post-hospital depression. Instead I was happy to not be hallucinating for once. And it's still going strong. I've been able to live a normal life for the most part since I got out. I had a wonderful time with my mom, and I've been able to volunteer as well. I'm taking tomorrow off since I have to see my doctor, but I should be back on Monday. I hope I'm not jinxing myself.
I saw my psych yesterday and he is taking me off the trazadone and tapering down the risperdal. I want to be on as few meds as possible, and the trazadone isn't doing anything for me. I got all my meds, though, for free now that I have Medicare. Yay!
