Finally got an appointment :)
Can't remember if I posted this in my last journal entry, but I've got some good news! We FINALLY recieved our appointment date from the Bc Childrens. It going to be in Septmeber. I thought that was weird that they wont send us sooner. I mean, if by some chance it was cancer, which it probably isn't, wouldn't you want to get her in sooner? Just to make sure? I don't know. I'm not a doctor I guess... just a concerned mommy.
Gabby is doing good. She's not in any pain, but she is noticing the lump on her arm. She'll point to it but it's not becoming a problem yet. We're having an appoinment with our doctor next week to see a pediatrician. They will asess her body and try to find any more lumps. They will then decide if she needs a CAT scan or MRI. All depends on what they say. Hopefully they won't have to do any scans because that would mean she would be put under. She already has to do it 2 times in September and I think that's too much. I would be asking alot of queastions if that's the case. I"m not letting any doctors tell me what to do... they will ask my permission.
So I'm working at a fast food restaurant in town and they have been extremely nice through all of this worrying. They've offered to give me a leave of absense without notes and have also told me that they would help in anyway. The boss and owners approached me last week and said they don't want me to worry about finances while we're gone and that they would help out with that, which is amazing. my last job (where I was a manager) wouldn't do DICK ALL. When we lost Rylan they didn't take it seriously because I was young. It was like they didn't have any human emotions, and they pressured me into coming back too early. I'm very thankful that this new company puts it's staff and their families first. It means alot to me!
Anyways, thought I'd give you all the updates as they roll in. Thanks for all the hugs! I'm sending them all back to you :)

It takes FOREVER to see a specialist which is mind boggling to me. My nephew had a heart murmur & it was getting really bad, he was starting to turn blue all the time & couldn\'t do any physical activity. When my SIL made an appointment for him it was months & months away. It really made me mad because he could have lost his life just waiting for that appointment to come. Thank the Lord, he is alright today.
You are such a good mommy. Gabby is blessed to have you! I\'m glad to hear your employers are so kind. That must be a huge stress reliever that they are not like your last one. Stay strong!
Thanks! Yes, it\'s ridiculous how long you have to wait. IT\'s almost like they don\'t undertand, but I guess they do... They deal with more pressing issues?? I don\'t know. I\'ve just got to take a breath and realize there\'s nothing I can do to make them change their minds.
