Finally exam ready, but the fuse blew anyway
So, I finally have enough ?s straightened out to actually be able to take a practice quiz before my big chemistry exam Friday (thank you ScaredandScarred!). So at least I have a reasonable chance at that one.
It didn't stop my fuse from blowing about the lack of help I've gotten on getting help. It wasn't all that long before I e-mailed my advisor -- of all people -- telling her that among other things that tutors not being available when I am is making it so much more difficult than it has to be because to get explanations I've been relying on someone who lives out of the country because there is absolutely no chemistry tutor during weekday daylight hours, which I don't feel is fair.
She told me just before my family law exam today that she got that message but didn't have a chance to deal with it yet (fair, because I sent it at around 10:45am and I have a feeling someone else is going to be implicated in this...just don't know who. Probably not me because she could tell I was frustrated).
This was in part because I feel bad asking DS friends for help, and the part about how most of the help came from outside the US (Canada, to be precise) is true. But I'm not expecting much good to come from this unless it gets forwarded to the TASC and they figure out they're not doing we work-and-school combo wing nuts any favors. So unless something really crazy happens, look for intermittent calls for video or site help on concepts in the coming weeks.

And yes, this basically is me blowing my top...must find a better way to out this disgust.
Hey, I have advanced level chemistry under my belt, I knew that it would come in handy at some point lol!!
I am glad that you messaged your tutor, even if nothing comes of it at least you know that you have made the people who could do something aware of the situation.
This seems like a pretty healthy way to deal things to be perfectly honest. Venting it out allows you to look at the problem and then move forward.
If you need any help with concepts just please let me know :)
