ffuts.

Hi,
so uh hey what's up?  i got up around ten, no water.  ruh roh.  broken water main, after finding this out i went back to bed.  didn't know i would sleep all afternoon, but when it comes to sleeping i'm a trooper.  this is something i am good at until i'm not.
i have talk radio on......for company, this talker guy has an annoying voice.  sigh, i need pleasant discussion voice person, not whinnying whiner through his nose dude.  see me hit off button now. i did take a lovely hot shower ---- fully appreciated having water again!  good stuff water.
noted that all the rain has raised some of those big weird looking foresty mushrooms around the yard.....all the dandelions have closed up their yellow lion faces for the day.  moment of sadness, one of my hanging flowering baskets has died.  the storm last night did not refresh it, it was a TKO.  The two in front look great.....one in back is at 50%, in ground plants doing well.  Especially the vine roses........pretty, deep red blooms thanks to the big drink from mother sky.
i breaded some chops, browned then and slid them into the oven.  thinking about brown bread and broccoli.  Cheese sauce?  Maybe, maybe not.  I'm not very hungry, this is me trying to induce myself to eat a lovely dinner.  To do it, to take care of myself.
I'm going to watch the final episode of American Idol.  See how our GA boy, Phillip Phillip fares.....both kids are talented.  Phillip is 20/21?........little Jessica Sanchez is only 16, from the San Diego area.  If you don't watch no worries, I still do......LOL.  I think that Phillip Phillips is a modern twist on the crooner...........and this covers everything from Bing to who is that guy?  oh shoot, oh no, not again, what is his name?  Sang "You've Got a Friend", tours with Carole King, sang "Sweet Baby James" and that song about Carolina......oh shoot.  I give up, give me the brain transplant behind door no 2.  i'm done.  phillips could go in the direction of the boss but i kind of hope he goes more the way of the southern story teller modern style and becomes a simon (of simon and garfunkle) of our time.
boy am i a blabby girl.  i just need to talk to somebody and talking to the kitties only goes so far.  yesterday there was a police stand off with a young gun man who robbed a waffle house in the metroplex area.  it lasted around 4 hours......two guys robbed the place, one guy caught stuck in the parking lot waving his gun around.  he asked to talk to his momma, asked for a drink of water and every now and again he would just start dancing.  kids with guns are not a good combination.......throw in bullets and lord a mighty......
they interviewed a girl bystander, she said the robber was stupid.....saw him standing on his own t-shirt, in trying to escape he ran right out of his shoes and got himself stuck on the hot asphalt.  the girl said, he's too stupid, can't keep his own shoes on, needs to pull up his pants and set that gun down......so stupid.  makes me wonder why they aired her comments, for comedic relief?  it all seems so sad, desperate and beyond dumb.  and ........in other news, they arrested two young teens for robbing an area church.  the church has them on camera, found them easily enough......two blond headed angels.......not kidding.  looked like the all American teens that live next door.
the news is strange.........
sending love and encouragement.  i think we need to plan our virtual reunion vacations about now..........nothing stops us from going, it's all imagination based, so where do we wanna go this year???????????????  we have virtual health, time, ability and all the devil may care savoir faire we need..........i'm gonna say a little prayer for you tonight dear friends..........Annie & Rio say meooooooooowwwwwwww.
Recently read "The Room", this is a very strange book.  Have you heard of it?  Then I read a Tami Hoag book about a serial killer, "Deeper than the Dead" and scared myself silly, bad dreams scared silly.  Now I'm reading James Michener's "The Journey"........late 1800's Canada.  Klondike Gold Rush and sleeping much better!  It's amazing stuff, history brought to life.....in the vast rugged beauty of Canada.
Tired now.......
xoxoxoxo

James Taylor be the singer you are trying to recall. \"In My Mind I\'m Going to Carolina\" is the song. A PSA for you.

I don\'t watch American Idol but do hope your choice wins. The kid from here in NC won last year & then went back to his high school for his senior year & was a pitcher on his school baseball team.

Yes, the news is crazy, crazy these days.

The Michener book also sounds good.

My goodness, alot HAS been going on in the city! I love the kitty antics, nothing like an innocent (or maybe not) to keep us in stitches! My Baby scared the devil out of a nurse today, talk about leaping out of the way of a little six pound, toothless terror, I am still laughing. Just can\'t help it, it has been one of those kind of days! Love ya, Connie
