feelings may not be facts but they can influence you to do stuff

I am remembering this meme, where this anthropomorphized black

cloud of life's harshness hovered over a man - and the man

looked beleaguered and questioning. Then he started to 'make art with it'

and the black cloud said "hey!! what are you doing with what I am serving up!!?? no fair!!"

I wish I could find it again and post it here.

Things in general are good I can't complain. Just started to approach the idea

that feelings are not facts from my own vantage/perspective. I sincerely feeling

lonely - but it's up to me to decide what to do with those feelings....eh? am I right!?? :) heh

I am also looking forward to getting back to work. It just is very very important to have

that kind of pressure and remunerative activity. It'll express out of me the whole

emotional high tides that I have as well as bring in some greatly needed resources

to develop a savings as well as live my life with less vulnerability.

sorting my feelings from the facts is a ritual of mine for both psych and business dealings. as a psych tool, it is especially important for managing my social anxiety. the exercise obliterates my low self-esteem's certainty that i am repulsive and incapable of fitting in. in business dealings, knowing a fact from a feeling saves a great many bone-headed losses. feelings contribute to more business failures than any other single factor. feelings most certainly do influence what i do with the facts. ply mindfulness here.
