feeling pretty good.
my back is already feeling a whole lot better. side effect? felt an acceleration pushing my body into high gear. hard to sleep last night, realized i was flexing and tapping my toes, couldn't quite settle down. i forced myself to lie there, trying to turn off my brain. i kept thinking that if i couldn't sleep i should get up and clean something, sort or organize something. use the energy, but the rules after this procedure is take care of yourself. don't overdo it, don't lift or move heavy anything, don't go crazy........my eyes are red and burning. at some point this steroid rush will have to calm down, but for now i'm using it to make lists, do laundry and search best ways to paint plastic garden plant pots.
unfortunately i just recently filled the old ugly pots with dirt and free plants, so painting them will mean having to replant everything, which sounds like a lot of work. i'm going to compare new plastic pots with the cost for paint and see what it will cost more or less. think i'll also go visit Roses Express and see if they have any cheap garden pots......
they told me i can drive, need some stuff from walmart and think i'll get a walk in at an area thrift store in winders, then head to the far end of winder to take a walk through roses express.....sometime while i'm out i'll top off the gas tank. gas prices dropped from $2.69.9 per gallon to $2.44 per gallon. good enough reason to buy more gas!
this tired and wired feeling is never a favorite thing to endure. but the other side is that i sat up easily this morning. i walked easily into the bathroom. i stepped over the side of the tub safely and easily. i could rise up and down on the shower chair easily. it didn't hurt to tidy up the bedcovers and pillows this morning. usually i'm making a lot of general noise, ows and grunts and groans to let the pain out. but not so far......so far it's good. i parked my cane against the wall.
sam believes that the severe arthitic pain in my upper body is a big contributor to the more moderate symptoms in my lower body. he said something to me about how the pain i have moving and walking has nothing to do with something else, but i can't remember what he said. the jist was that he doesn't doubt the high levels of pain i've been in, because of that something.....but overall he thinks its a domino effect that got me so out of kilter. i don't think the weight gain from the prednisone helped one bit either.
i wish with all my might that i had gone to see the orthopedist not my rheumatologist in March of 2018. she did so many things wrong and i wasn't functioning well enough to pull out of her office soon enough. it was a bad situation. at some point i need to let it go......it's been hard, thinking of all those days of pain --- what she did and beyond that what she did not do. so many allergic long lasting side effects.......two solid months of migraines. that alone should rate her a trip to the wall with a last cigarette. ok, so i'd only let the shooters use nerf guns with soft nerf thingies.........but the idea of it brings a faint smile. she did me wrong.
my head hurts so maybe i'll have to stay home, or at least take a nap first.......reduce the brain pain. think i'll make some poached eggs and toast in a bit......maybe have a cup of hot tea. seeing really good changes despite the hyperactivity that comes with the injections. it should all calm down at some point.
if you should stop by hello.........hope you're in a good place, not too bad a day. i have the hiccups........good grief Charlie Brown. glad to be back on all my meds again, that should start to feel better having the protection of Xarelto and the supplements going back to work until the upper cervical. wish it could be sooner than august 19th, but that's just my anxious head talk. gotta slow my roll and pray for the coming goodness, relief from the pain in my neck, shoulders, arms and hands. ............a huge gift coming soon!
