Feeling pissed off

Yup that's how I feel.  Trying to make sense of it all.  The kids are shocked the wedding is in 8 days... they are expected to go to Boston for the ceremony and their dad is presenting himself as being mad if they don't go.  He could've handled this much better.I am dying to know how long exactly he has known he was getting married next Saturday.  I want the kids to know I was only told 2 days ago and did not know any of the details.  I haven't talked to my son, which is bumming me out.  I texted him last night and asked if he was ok, he said, "yeah, I'm fine".  My daughter made small talk with me when she got home and then started to go to her room.  I said, wait a minute, can we talk? She jumped down my throat, so she was fine, that she and her dad argued the whole way home.  She laid into him about his priorities, and being an absent father when we were all together.  She didn't tell me any of this (I called my ex) and it hurts me my kids don't want to talk to me about it.  They never want to talk about anything painful.  This fucking sucks...I feel like I'm being shunned by them; I was supposed to go away this weekend, but decided not to due to this all bullshit.  I know I'm making the right decision to have my presence and energy around incase the kids want to hang out, I'm just pissed if doing it as a result of my ex's poor planning and decision making.  I should be used to it by now.  But nope... I'm a sucker.  Friday night... I'll be alone.  What to do?  I won't drink I know that with every ounce in my body, but what I also know is that I want to. I'll be alright.

Wow you and your children going through a lot! What a jerk to let everyone know in that short time didn\'t give the kids anytime to digest it all. So proud of you not hitting the bottle and staying strong in that area! I could understand wanting to pig out!!! Take care
