Feeling Overwhelmed

There's been a lot going on here lately, I'm starting to feel like I can't process everything anymore. Firstly, I have three grandparents with Dementia and/or Alzhiemer's Disease. Both of my maternal grandparents are in their 90's, and in a nursing home. My grandmother especially is not doing so well. They put her on hospice care five months ago, and earlier this week they told us that she would likely not survive the weekend.  Good news is that it's now Monday, and there's really been no change. But that isn't going to stop the inevitable.  It's been really difficult watching her deteriorate this rapidly.  I just don't want to her to suffer. But I know her time is near. Honestly, the waiting game is what is really frustrating. Every time the phone rings at work, or a text message comes through my phone, I'm wondering if that's when I'm going to get the news that my grandmother has passed away.  My grandfather has had Alzhiemer's for many years now. But that doesn't make it any easier to cope with. Seeing him get angry at the most random things, throwing things, talking to people who aren't there. It shocks me to see it, and it breaks my heart watching him struggle along through this phase of life with hardly any memory of the things that he's accomplished in his life. My paternal grandfather was also recently diagnosed with dementia, and is at risk of losing his home to forclosure. I spent a good portion of my life at that house growing up before my grandmother, and then my father passed away suddenly when I was a young girl. So many memories in that house, and it's about to be gone from us.  And he really needs to be in a home, but my uncle doesn't have legal medical POA and cannot force him into a facility against his will.  I know that this is all a part of life, and growing up. But that doesn't make it any easier to accept.
