Feeling Lucky
I got no real sleep last night, always pleasant before a big test. My knee has been doing better, but was really bothering me last night and I tossed constantly trying to find a position where it didn't hurt. It's been three weeks. I'm going to give it a little more healing time, but have some concerns that the ligament might be getting caught up in the wrong place, as I am still unable to completely straighten the knee and it still hurts so much for me to lie on my side - sleeping on your back with a knee on a pillow is never quite restful.
I was hopeful to get back to teaching dance classes the first of March. I can certainly tell I haven't been dancing. By the time I climb the hill on campus (and the 64 steps up to that area of buildings), I'm getting winded!! Not liking that - at all!
Considering everything, I'm just feeling lucky this morning. I have some sense of certainty that this professor is miraculously going to choose questions that don't have all these words I still can't spell :)

Best wishes for kick some major booty on that test!
OOh I\'m sorry to hear about your knee, maybe time to have a medic look at it? It seems to have been hurting a long time with little improvement. Maybe the 64 steps aren\'t such a good idea? is there a lift? Sorry, the mother coming out in me, don\'t mean to lecture xx
No, there is no lift. Our campus is evern more terrible than average campuses as far as parking, and yeah, it\'s all hills!! I usually appreciate the long walk, but I could go to the campus clinic and perhaps look into whatever services are available for handicap students - I\'m sure they don\'t take the stairs, but I have also been trying to keep the knee mobile. I\'m a bad patient. I am fairly certain from all my days of transcription for orthopedic doctors that I have a grade I MCL tear, but yeah it\'s that not taking care of me thing...can\'t seem to find the time or money to actually get it looked at!!
Too bad your test didn\'t go as well as expected! Next time!!!
So frustrating when the body messes up on one. Especially when it\'s something that requires going to doctor. I think you live in the U.S. where no medicare, right? I\'m still not clear on how Obama\'s health care reforms work. As for money, if it was one of your pups, you\'d probably go to vet.... This from me who is exactly the same way. I\'ll take my animals to a vet but for myself, I keep putting off and off and, you get the point, lol. Still haven\'t called back for results of blood tests taken back in September :-(
Hope knee cooperates for a good sleep tonight.
This made me laugh because the puppies actually have a vet visit scheduled for tomorrow!!
