feeling low
part of me wants to write about what I am going through, the other part feels like I should
have some pride and do something else. I can be self expressive and sometimes that helps but
it also seems like a step of avoidance from just getting on with the day and activity that would really
be about being productive.
I'll start with that I went to yoga today and it was super terrific. My teacher is awesome, and very professional and kind.
I then went to my parents' house and had lunch with them.
I wrote my psychiatrist earlier on in the day... I was feeling low and I wrote him. He jotted a note back with a simple
but very kind encouragement. Such nice and kind words... I wrote him back that 'he's my hero.'
... tomorrow I go and see my new therapist - which is something I am still pretty unsure about. I don't know
how I am going to organize my thoughts before hand but that is part of my homework from her that I will do before
our meeting at 4pm. I have some time.
I wonder if my low feelings are really about loneliness instead..?.... Could be part of it..In any event, just now as I am writing this my sense of self respect is coming back to me a bit... I think I needed to tweak my perspective a bit...
I will write more later tonight I think.

I hope you feel more up soon.
Big hug sweetie..... I would try really hard not to look at journaling as anything but good for you Mark..... I've been in the hospital twice for a few weeks when I was in rough shape and both times my pdoc wanted me to journal as a therapeutic tool
I think what you're doing is a good thing and I hope arranging your thoughts in writing is beneficial to you.... What I found shocking and still do when I look back on my journals is just what I write.... I often don't remember the writings or feelings that I describe.... It's interesting
I hope that your appt goes well.... You are just meeting her for the second time so I think it's still in the getting to know you stage
I think you have courage..... Another big hug....xo
thanks Jan and Chris!!
