feeling lousy...but

feeling lousy this morning. don't really know why.

started the morning, when unmotivated, and just said to myself

over and over "this is me taking care of myself" - it helped me

on with getting dressed and getting out the door to go to the Starbucks

at 530am.

I then came home and Blue greeted me, just felt so lost and my mind feels

pretty feeble but I've got to find something to keep on keeping on.

This journal helps. Blue crying for some play time encourages me to think

and take care of him. Don't know why I feel so futile.

So, feeling lousy...but I can't buy into it. Got to make the day

into something nice...and hey!! It's Valentine's Day! :)

sadness maybe is here but cheer up (I say to myself) and take

a shower and have a good day!

Sending hugs to you guys!

maybe i am feeling lousy because it's Valentine's Day and I am alone...that probably has something to do with it.
Also my mental challenges can make me feel alone - but I think it's probably magnified today because of the holiday.

...and quite honestly it's probably the pandemic 'social distancing' restrictions. There's no where to go. I
didn't make a plan...
If I could even just go to church, have something planned and not just think of solo activities that would
have made me feel encouraged by the day. I'll hold on tight! We've got DS.org! :)

Happy Valentine's Day sweetie.... Aww.... I am so sorry that you're feeling lousy..... I know that a lot of people are struggling with the mental part of Covid.... Do you ever read Mark?

I can get really lost in books... My saving grace I think... You can buy them second hand on Amazon or charity shops sell them as well cheaply

Are shops are presently closed... I'm not sure about there..... I hope that the day will improve as it goes on..... Big hug....xo

feeling lots better. I just said to myself that we all need to 'carry ourselves through' at times - sadness
and all. I had Blue my cat to think about. He's totally reliant on me for EVERYTHING...and so I can't just
think about myself...and for that matter I thought about my Dad and stepmom. My stepmon has an illness
and he has to take care of her - he can't just think about himself and so is the reality for so many of us.
It's my job to not be reliant on my Dad as well - so he can take care of his life...
The sun is coming up - I feel the day ahead!! Sunshine in the windows and music playing...
the day beckons!! Sending peace and good vibes!!

Have a happy Valentine’s Day! It can be a tough day for people, but don’t feel discouraged for there is much to be grateful for.

I am grateful for an old boss when I worked at an art museum and how she approached Valentine’s Day. We were so busy for gift éxchanges during Christmas and Hanukkah and she used to go crazy for Valentine’s Day instead. She never sent Christmas cards or gave gifts, and waited to send letters to friends, family and loved ones on Valentine’s Day each year. At work she’d bring in treats and smell gifts for her staff thanking us. She was this really tough New York City former Bloomingdales buyer and she would turn into a softie for Valentine’s Day to express gratitude for people in her life. So that’s how I think of it now. Just thought I’d share!

I make time to appreciate myself on Valentine's Day. I think of things I do to find my joy.

You are not alone in this feeling. Take the moment to express your love for yourself!

Happy Day to You! And, with your Dad, he appreciates being helpful with you-it makes him feel better, too!

Blue's love is also unconditional for you!

I just took a drive and felt such inspiration about my family, my life and the idea of being responsible to my family - my father and understanding his perspective as well as my own with my life. As I drove I felt a responsibility to my city
where I live as well. I was never taught CIVICs in school but I am feeling really like I have a place here.
I also see it as my place here on DS.org. Perhaps we all have to go through sadness to grow. Heard it once said
that struggling with ourselves is how we come to grow. A perhaps the lattitude to have those bad moments
but to keep inspired helps come out to the other side.

The viral isolation is a problem in my world and I live with four other people. Isolation plays such a huge part in my own psychotic herstory that I cannot even fathom a flu bug being a meaner pathogen than the psychoses(pl) of isolation. As I ride the roller coaster ride of that wandering wonder, I'm letting myself lean into the emotions while reminding myself that it is the nature of emotions to run like water in a stream. Let them flow and they will change naturally, on their own. This, too, shall pass.
