Feeling lonely

I was woken up by the fire alarm in my apartment complex about 90 minutes ago. Went downstairs, even though it's the middle of the night and I had finally fallen asleep after tossing and turning for a good hour. Most of the building had evacuated already. Every one in groups or pairs, couples, families. I was all alone with no one to talk to, or hug. Really felt the pain of loneliness. Sigh
