feeling like a child
this morning I woke and felt like a child, I felt dependent and discontented. Incompetent. I steeled myself to get ready and to get down to chapel for 7am services. I said to myself ‘this is what you wanted and so now you have to deal with it’ It was an acceptance that was sobering but it gave me good resolve and a reward of strength inside. I felt strong and with adulthood. As I was standing there, I started to listen to the service and I started to appreciate the sacred beauty and emphasis of it all. It’s indeed nice to live with somethings being sacred and celebrated and it filled my heart. Mentally i felt clear and i am feeling good. I’m ready to start working as well. I find myself reminded of when I did my exchange program to Spain and how there was such a similar energy to the household where I stayed and society there.
I hope as you guys search for your dream locations you can also find yourselves too. I think so much of happiness comes from within and knowing what makes you happy.

dunno. . . my maternal instincts are barking like crazy over an adult declaring it childish to feel dependent, incompetent or discontented. yes, children are dependent on the adults around them, but for the sake of nurturing independence, i don't make it the focus of their development. billing children as incompetent? discontented? let me put on my queen of hearts costume and declare, "! ! !OFF WITH HIS HEAD! ! ! they are young, not stupid.
i opine that you woke up feeling your low self-esteem. ya got some studying up to do on what it means to feel childish.
just opining. . . an opine a day keeps the friends at bay.
Thanks Arfie!
