Feeling defeated

Well I saw the cardiologist yesterday and he said I can't work until I go at least 6 months without a POTS flare up. That really sucks because I just had one last week. It's possible the depakote triggered the flare up. He said I shouldn't be on any meds that make me super tired and out if it. I pretty much already knew that but I was hopeful at the lower dose my reaction to it would be different. He said he would do whatever it takes to help me get disability. Unfortunately the lawyer said I won't get a hearing for at least a year.
Mom toldme she woukd still help me with my bills. Thankfully I know get $180 a month in food stamps and my health insurance is free. It just suck because if the disability would have gone through I wouldn't have to give up my car. I really feel like I could work part time. Even if I made $200 a month it woukd be something. I literally have a cardiologist and my t doc saying I cannot work and yet I get denied disability. It's bullshit.

I'm so sick of all the losses. I need a win even if it's a small one. I should be grateful I have John and my friends and family but the thing is when people say at least you have your health I really don't think I do. That was taken away from my too. Sure I'm still able to walk but I'm still limited so much. I mean if several doctors say your'e not able to work how can I say at least I gave my health?

I can understand your anger and frustration, and they\'re 100% valid. Is there one possible silver lining here? That since all of these docs say you can\'t work then John might get off of your back about it?? Idk, and I don\'t want to make you mad with that comment, but I do hope that he\'ll stop making you feel even worse about it. ((hugs))
