Feeling Blue : (

I just have not been feeling myself these past two weeks with changes in my work not knowing where I stand within the company,  my birthday is tomorrow and the gray hair proves my age : ( I remember celebrating my birthday use to be fun, but now I just feel it's just another day another year, along with its our 9 year anniversary. I should be greatful I have a job at this moment and  I have someone who loves me, it's raining and cold outside, I guess it's the weather puting me in this blue mood. I'm just ranting.  I havn't been feeling sexy, I'm in sweats when I get home, no reason to dress up, not going anywhere. I need a good cry. I feel soo disconnected right now. I have to get up early and head to the DMV and renew my license with an eye test.  Woo Hoo how exciting.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. AMEN

Let\'s start with a big \"Happy Birthday\"!!!! I know how you feel: it sometimes seems like just another day. But if you can show yourself a little love, it might help you feel better. My mother always said that when you feel crummy, put on something that makes you feel beautiful. Do your hair and make-up and SMILE. Smile and pretending to be happy actually triggers something in your brain that makes you feel better. Then count your blessings, even the little ones. Here are some odd but real ones: 1) I\'m not living in a war zone or a cardboard box; 2) My child or children are not addicted to drugs, 3) I don\'t have a terminal disease, 4) My best friend isn\'t dying...get the picture? All of these are real situations in the lives of people that I know and love. So count your good luck and blessings and know that you have a friend and a cheerleader out in Illinois!!!!
