Father's Day 2021
Today was an okay day. Celebrated my hubby by cooking an awesome dinner. BBQ Ribs boiled in beer (recommended by my FIL) and then grilled, corn on the cob wrapped in foil (sealed with butter and salt and pepper), and some pasta salad. Watched a movie (hubby's choice) with our oldest adult daughter with some yummy snacks.
Our two youngest teens are at scout camps. Our son is in CO and daughter is in Prescott. Praying they both have fun, safe trips. Daughter is with her BFF. She had major surgery almost a month ago; so hope all goes well for her.
I'm kinda still super sad because my bestest dog, Henry, was put down just two days ago. My heart is broken; I miss him terribly. I know he was getting worse healthwise, but I really didn't expect him to get pneumonia and not recover.
Well, tomorrow is a girls' day up north. I'm trying to do things to have fun and keep busy.
