Family Sadness
Our Family dog, BB (Bozo Butt) is about to transion. He couldn't get up Saturday, was completely dazed, terrified as to what was happening to him, his eyes darting left & right, and there's nothing we can do. My Wife stayed on the front porch Saturday night, and he got up dragged about, and found a private spot in the weeds behind the house and slept there last night, alone. This morning I checked on him, he flinched and was breathing. We may take him I to euthanize him later today. He was born in 2001, and has been a faithful companion ever since, sleeping at the foot of my wife's side of the bed this last year. We will say goodbye soon.

So very sorry to hear about your family dog BB. I loss my little Taja last May and it was very emotional they are like family. Hugs to and your family.
My wife & m-i-l checked on him later and he raised his head. After they left for awhile my wife went to check again and he was gone! Wifey suggests he wanted to die alone and went further into the brush. I came home and went way back into the property next door and there was no sign of him. It\'s like the Doggy Angels had already taken him...
Maybe I\'ll search again soon, IDK.
One thing we did today was throw the worn-out couch he loved to sleep on to stay close to my wife on the burn-pile. I assume my wife doesn\'t want to sit there with any future pets. We picked up his water & food bowls too.
We miss him already. Sad & grieving, but not overly distraught; more like accepting.
My condolences to you and your wife Rich. He was a good and loyal friend and I know how much you will both miss him. Keeping you in my thoughts today.
