Family
Last summer my sister had said some things that my mother had said about me and I had confronted my mom when she visted me and she never denied saying the things. I just can't seem to let it go. I had a fall out with the family a couple years after high school, stayed away for about three years and my sister found me and got me back together with the family, but ever since I just feel my mom hasn't been the same with me, she could of cared less if I went on with my life without them, but I try to make the best of it when I have to visit.
I have not spoken to my mom since her birthday, June 10th, has she called me? or send me an email NO, why do I have to be the one to call? I know she is traveling in the motorhome, when we're on the phone, it just feels awkward, I'm on pins and needles being careful I don't say something that she may take offensive.
I just want to be accepted. I'm adoptive and I know these insecurites are normal in my situation. I just want to live my life and not worry what others think of me.

I\'m sorry you are suffering in communicating with your mom. The fact that you always have to call isn\'t right. She should be calling you every once in awhile. I think it\'s good that you make the best of it when you have to visit family. I hope you and your mother can figure out this awkwardness and become closer.

Just this weekend my brother told me that my mother says I am always stupid no matter what comes out of my mouth. I knew this but I had hoped she was not saying that to him.
I just want to be accepted too.
I have had struggles with my mom for years and would like to make things right between us before she passes away. Hopefully this won\'t be for a while yet.
I spoke with my mother this morning, you know actually I was on the phone with her for a while due to the fact we havent spoken in a while, maybe it\'s not sooo bad not talking alot cause when you have nothing to say but the same old same old has been happening, well turns out she had fallen in a pot hole and sprained her ankle and how I found out was on FB last night.
