Falling
I fell around Christmas down my Parent's stairs. Not all of them, the last step! I bruised my back end! Then I fell again on Saturday and Rob couldn't get me up so I slept ( yeah, right ) on the floor. In the morning I begged him to call the son in law, who came over and together they picked me up and put me in bed.
Rob then said I can't pick you up any more and I can't take care of you. You won't exerciseand get stronger. You are selfish! Wekneed to look into a long term care facility for you!
Guess I had better start looking as my parents are elderly and my sisters don't have the room or time and my children either work or live out of state.

Oh, I am so sorry that you are going through this. It is bad enough to have MS but it makes it worse when the people we love will not/cannot help us or support us. I hope you did not hurt yourself too bad. I will keep you in my prayers. Take care of yourself!
Sounds like Rob would not be good for your ego. Is that the name of your son? Hope you have recovered from your fall.
Try to come up with any option besides long-term care, if you can. They are places usually understaffed with too many to care for. And I think that once there, you can\'t get out.
take care,
Lorna
I am sorry. Like Darcie wrote, can you maybe get someone to come in and help, like a visiting nurse or something?
Hope you can stay in your home I am hoping the best for you. My prayers for you Marilyn hang in there. Chuck
I really hope you find a way to stay in your own home. You are in my prayers. Hugs, Rosa
Oh, my dear friend, I\'m so sorry to hear this! You definitely need love, kindness and support, not hard, cruel words. Yes, reality is what it is, but kindness and gentle words can make the painful process a little easier. I pray that our Lord will bless you with the perfect and loving care that you deserve!
Gentle, loving hugs to you! xoxo
Thank you for all of the kind words of love and support! I have been very lax in helping myself! I think Rob (husband) is expressing his frustration. His brother is dying of cancer as well. We may have to move regardless.
