Excited and Frustrated

Wow, to be perfectly honest, I am sooo ready to BD. Its funny when they tell you not to, thats the only thing you want to do!! haha So, today it is "safe" to BD but there will be no baby making going on. I am currently learning SOO much about my cycle. The body is truly an amazing thing. So I am CD4 (look at me using the lingo!!) and started my OPK sticks today. I know it is WAYYY to early to ovulate but to be real, I was just excited to see what my urine shows now. So there was a faint line which I know is not positive but at least there is some of that hormone in there, right?!!? I have been going through a hard time recently with some friends. I feel like I am moving in a different direction and my priorities are different now. I am not smoking or drinking. A lot of my friends are still really in that party lifestyle and they make me feel guilty when I don't want to go to a room full of smoke and listen to screaming into a microphone. I don't know. My DH gives me shit about it because he said when we first met, I went out all the time. Yes, absolutely I went out all the time. I was single, 23, and no responsibility besides my dog. Things are SOO different now. I don't know. Maybe if I get pregnant soon, his priorities will change too. He now compares me to this couple who never does anything but sit around their house. Puh-lease. I will go to the winery, Six Flags, out to dinner, have people over, whatever!! I want to do things with people, but I want to do more casual things.

I completely understand! DH has toned down the negativity about not going out as much during the week but this is reality, not the exhaustion of single life. We women don\'t need as much from going out once we marry (for the most part). At least that\'s how I feel. I really hate having this same talk all the time, don\'t they grow out of this by age 29 or 30? My DH is 26.

LOL, it is so true that you want to BD when you are supposed to refrain.

This time is a big adjustment in your life. Yay for you making healthier decisions. That is so great. I am sure your husband will shift his priorities soon enough too. Good luck!
