Evil One strikes...again

Dear DS diary,
No disturbing thoughts to talk about this time.  Just me messing with other people's heads.
My supervisor started this one yesterday at work.  He was doing some double-checking on the previous week's work, a necessary step because he's almost always finding a couple of mistakes.  This time he found a label with mistyped directions.  I can't go into the details for privacy reasons, which is okay because all you really need to know is this:
Instead of the word "MOUTH" (please excuse the all caps in this sentence, it's just for emphasis), whoever had typed the label must have a zone-out moment.  It came out: "PUTH".
He grabbed the vial and gave it to one of my colleagues.  With a grin on his face, he had her read the relevant part of the directions aloud.  This brought over the other pharmacist on duty on my side of the pharmacy, who wanted to know if it was something she did because she had been doing some labels recently, and if there was an error she wanted to know so she could fix it.
"Puth?", she asked.
Now, this sounded suspiciously like the word "poof", so I opened my mouth:
"Yeah," I responded, "it's what happens when things magically disappear.  They go poof!"
There was an instant explosion of laughter at my latest Evil One moment.  Somewhere over in her corner, my mother had to have been hanging her head and thinking, "This is the son I raised?".
Well, mother, if you had been there for me when I needed you 15 years ago, maybe I wouldn't have turned into a cynical, sarcastic bloke. 3>:)
