Everyday type stuff

Last night I was confronted by

feelings of anger with a family member.

After thinking about it for a while, I realized that just because I was angry it didn't mean I didn't love them still.

Anger will inevitably happen at times in relationships and upset.

I was thinking about if I were to go live at the monastery. Inevitably there would be upset times there as well. Bad days or more so days of discontent. Even the Abbess said to me "we get into arguments sometimes" it's natural.

I'm also seeing that so much of my natural inclination to create systems in my life to cope with the upset needs to be balanced with the understanding and management of relationships and emotional management (head to head). It can't be all one and not the other.

true love --whatever the context of the love-- is a complex weave with room for every emotion in the human repertoire, even the emotions we have yet to name and/or collectively forgotten the names of. within my art analogies, the darker emotions are what give the work outline and contrast. to my literal artistic eye, a picture of nothing but airy pastels lacks definition.
