Escape corruption through His Lovingkindness

We may never understand the reason for our trials in life on this side of heaven, but I know through it all God has promised us to be partakers of His divine nature. (2 Peter 1:4). How? Having survived many evil acts against me throughout my life I find myself having a grateful heart. Strange ha? I could have become what was done to me. However, God in His gracious and merciful love has made a way for me to escape the corruption of the world by lust that could have settle in my soul. (2 Peter1:4) How did He do this?  By faith. Not my own, but His faith with lovingkindness.
By faith I needed to believe the truth. Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.”
I needed to trust that His love was everlasting. God asked, “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth Does not become weary or tired. His understanding is inscrutable. He gives strength to the weary, And to him who lacks might He increases power.” (Isaiah 40:28,29)
The Lord has promised, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, I have drawn you with lovingkindness.” (Jeremiah 31:3) God's lovingkindness is His divine nature. It is in His lovingkindness that we can escape and are drawn to Him. Having the same divine nature we can help others escape the corruption of this world and enter into His lovingkindness.
Yes, He is a gracious loving God!
