Entry 3

Ok so today is going a lot better than the past few days. I relaized I quit working my material and let old destructive patterns start taking over. So last night I restarted myself. I got back into my material and decided to take this weekend and breath. I've let school and family life get i the way of my sobriety and mental health. If I want to do good in school and be the nest I can for my family I have to be healthy and sober. So I reorganized my schedule and got my priorities set straight. I felt like a new person this morning. It's great, but I just have to remember not to let other things get in the way of my sobriety and mental health or I will be right back where I was the past couple of days. So I'm going to do some reading and then start working on my wife's truck and not worry about next week or even tomorrow cause I can only control this second of this minute of this hour of this day!

Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Good for you! Doesn\'t it feel great when you realize you\'ve gotten off track and recommit to do the right things!

It is natural to fall of track, and the key is that you got back on the track. I am happy to hear that you are pursuing college, and they say the one who has been through it all makes a great counselor as you will be speaking from the heart. I wish you the best, and one day at a time is all each of us can do. Hugs to you and your wife.
