Enjoying my life!

Just checking in - lately I've really been enjoying things - life does seem very different to me now - there are so many fun things to do and I'm actually happy to be staying away. Tonight I had an e-mail from a person I hadn't talked to in a while.  I guess she had known I had a problem with gambling and her mother plays the slots but seems to handle it just fine.  Anyway, she said I probably shouldn't mention this but my mom won $1,000 on a penny machine the other day, so she was pretty happy.  It was funny the way she worded it.  So - I wrote back and congratulated the mom and for some reason it didn't even bother me.  Maybe I am getting over this after all.  Of course I don't want to be too sure of myself - we know what that can lead to. :]
I'm in a weight-loss challenge at work which we are just starting - from now til August something; like the Biggest Loser- we have a team of people doing it and they go by percentage of weight lost for each team.  Our team of ladies is called Sassy By Summer :] I had seen this somewhere so I suggested it and everyone liked it.  Wish us luck... I'm trying to incorporate exercise as well, so we'll see how it all works out.
