Elevated enzymes and sick grandchild
Imagine that! Daycare called cuz Grayson is running a fever. Really? Its beginning to be a way of life. His daddy left work and will not go back in until mommy comes home, because GeeGee needs a break from the bugs.
My neuro nurse called today and my liver enzymes are elevated with the small dose of Imuran. For now, we are holding at low dose, and I have labs on Monday again. I need some positives. (Probably too much time alone, Beth)
On the bright side, my cold is soo much better and I have no fever. Hopefully MG sx will get better. Now to read all we have had to say about liver enzymes so if they are up on Monday, I can know what to expect.

I\'m so sorry about Grayson and th enzymes ( sounds like a new music group). The first two years of day care a child has about six viral infections per winter. One week sick, one week coming down with something. Then everything gets better and it\'s a rare cold here and there. If you wait until kindergarten, it is the same thing, the first two winters are sickly and after that things get better. The only difference is the older children can blow their own noses and throw their own tissues away! For children susceptible to ear infections, it is better if the canals are bigger so they drain better, but Grayson seems to have been spared that. Maybe it\'s a good sign re autoimmune diseases, we can always hope.
At least the enzyme changes let you know you have an active medication on board. That really threw me, having to worry about whether your medication is or is not working or your MG is getting worse. Now I can look forward MY grandchild\'s visit. You may just have to visit with virtual friends. We love you, too. Beth
Debbie, Poor Grayson getting sick again and you being sick and now your liver enzymes being elevated. Mine were elevated last time and I suppose to go yesterday for blood tests to check to see if they were still elevate, but had to cancel due to my MIL\'s passing. Mine is from Imuran also. I certainly hope yours will come down since you are on a low doze. It is always something isn\'t it. Thinking of you and a great big hug to you,

So sorry Debbie. Poor Grayson! He has caught everything that he\'s been around. Like Beth said, he will probably rarely get sick next year!
Hope your liver enzymes rise soon so you can go up on the Imuran.

Oh no poor baby Grayson. He looked so good and happy when I saw him on Friday. He is such a little cutie. Those blue eyes and great big smile.
Alright now Debbie, what the heck are we going to do with you? All I can say for now is to continue getting plenty of rest, and just be patient. It just takes awhile to get the right combination of meds and IVIG figured out. Its going to happen Deb. You just hang in there. Take care now.
