ECT #5

ECT today, and it is getting easier.  Memory is still really blurry around the actual ECT.  I remember the doctor and one of the nurses, but everything else is just a complete blur.

Everyone is nice and very professional.  I got a lot of thank-yous for my service today.

Next ECT is Wed.

Thor, that's to be expected. More important is whether it is settling the symptoms down. We got the Arctic blast this morning, with 45-50 mph winds, but my flags are all still in place. Played a version of the Star Spangled Banner during the 11-11-11 time. You are a hero. Hugs.

Thanks. Typing is a bit easier. I still communicate in simple sentences, and my vocab is off, but it is coming back.

The Service was something that I felt I needed to do and was honored to do. Honoring those that fell before I was my real intention. 11-11-11 is a solemn moment.
