ECT #19
Another session of ECT down. I was the first in the door and was the first to be shocked. yeah! This is my last ECT for a week and a half because of my trip home and the fact that I should show up to work sometime. Still nervous about the ECT and the possible side effects. Will the next sessions leave me with brain damage? Everything went OK but was real uncomfortable lying in the bed waiting for the anesthesia to wear off.

I guess if you look at what I was when I started, it has helped. I started ECT from hospitalization and did my first three from the psych ward and I was there for depression and suicidal ideations. The depression is still present but not to the same degree and the ideations are a bit less. I wish I could skip work on Thursday and do another round but I need to go to work or risk getting fired.
