ECT #10... Violence
Big 10 today. I had to rush out to get home for a work teleconference. Sedation made these meetings go by pretty quickly.
On the violence. Nothing new and I think she was just at the end of her caregiver rope. She made me cancel my TDoc today because she didn't feel like going and waiting. With ECT sedation, I can not drive for a couple of weeks yet. This caused a big argument because I see the TDoc has an appt with some very good value, I am bummed to be forced to cancel. I really need to talk with her about these ECT treatments an if they are being effective.
We have scrimped and saved and I am in a good position fo my relative retirement (house paid for with cash, significant savings in CDs, cars paid for, three retirement checks coming in). If she leaves, she will destroy that savings and we be left much worse office than now. I makes no sense to leave in a fit of peak.

Thor, I understand not wanting to be in dependent on anyone for rides. Most places do have Uber. Many docs now also do electronic meetings via Skype and such. I would check with her.
Agreed that folks make poor decisions when angry, and often say things that they don't intend to follow through on. Hopefully, she calms down, thinks about the consequences, and things return to balance. Support and hugs.
