Easter
This week we went to mass Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. The mass on Friday night really hurt my back. We were knealing and standing for a like 10 different prayers and by the end it felt like I was being stabbed. I know I cried during the mass and it was not because of what the service represented. We had a great day and enjoyed the family time with both my brother and sister in law and their families. We started preparing for Easter since Thursday and overall I think it went great. We had tons of food and lots of laughs, for a moment I even forgot I was hurt. I had not enjoyed a holiday like this in two years. It is currently 11:20 pm and I can't move, my lower back and legs are killing me but it was so worth it. My sister Anna has helped more than usual this year and for that I am truly great full. I'm hoping I can fall asleep soon and that I don't have to wake José so that he can apply a pain patch. Hopefully now that all the Easter is over I will be able to get the sleep I need since I haven't slept well due to the pain in my lower back due to all abnormal amount of walking I have had to do to prepare for this occasion. Seeing the boys have so much fun with their cousins was worth a little extra pain. Hopefully by next year I will have had my back surgery and I will be somewhat pain free.
