Early morning excitement
So, it is almost 3am and I do keep dozing off. I will write this and go to bed. Anyway, I am almost on my 3rd week of my 12 week Hep C treatment plan. After that I will be starting Testosterone and am having a hard time containing my excitement and impatience.
I am 5ft 5 in and weigh around 140. I need to lose some weight around the midsection and start building some muscle so I went and did something really crazy. I bought a new complete weight set and a bench with leg lifts. The weight set is a total 102 pound. A nice start. I can always add more. I have a jump rope for cardio and am actually pretty good. I also have a YMCA membership but hate working out with others. I figure I can use it for the pool, which I have already.
I will be 55 years old, and want to look as good as I possibly can, as a man, not to mention, I want to be in the best shape, ever. I figure, I will get a jump start before I start T.
I also have fibromyalgia and osteo and rheumatoid arthritis. I am on so much pain medication and I read somewhere that T can actually lower pain levels. I have always wanted to come off of that nasty stuff. Hey, I will take anything positive, at this point in my life. I wake up happy every morning, even when I am extremely high levels of pain. I love my life and am so excited to finally become the person, on the outside, completely, as I am on the inside.

Exercise is a good thing - I need to do more myself. Lately, I have been loosing weight - not sure how - as my body re-arranges where it stores the fat I have. I guess the T is helping me burn it off, at least in some places. I have only small dumbbells for upper body work, but I also have problems with range of motion due to the botched job the VA\'s surgeons did on my chest. Still, I could be doing more, and should. :) Glad you\'re doing well, keep up the hard work, it\'ll be worth it.
Hi there! I have to say, I am so looking forward to the weight and fat redistribution. I don\'t have much but you know how always feel we are bigger than we are. lol. Such bs pressure we put on ourselves.
