Dream
During a nap today I had a dream about my munchkin. I don't think it was a visit, just a dream. She was maybe 3 or 4 with those blue eyes sparkling and I was 23 or 24 and selfish but so in love withy my toddler. Made me weepy when I woke up. I miss the 90's.
Every morning I sleep much later than my husband. He talks to a picture of Cassi every day and says "I'll see you soon." He thinks the state of our political environment signals the end of the world. Whateverrrr...I was forced into church from my earliest memories and remember the oldest people talking about all the signs and the end was near...well, I am 45 now, so that kind of talk doesn't do much for me, neither does a lot of what I learned in that little Babtist Church. My spiritual journey has led me far, far away to a much happier place...however!!! As for the end of the world...maybe it is time. I have no fear of the afterlife, all my fears are in this life, all my pain is in this life.
Have a great week everyone...I will be on tomorrow with a Smiley face Monday...going to try to get that going again.
Good Night...Love You All!!!

It makes me happy and sad @ that the same time - it doesn't take long for reality to set in again in my mind and the tears come. Seeing our children in a dream is awesome (just don't want to wake up from it)...
Today it's gloomy, rainy so it matches my mood. I was up for several hours with my little fur baby because she was vomiting.....after about 3 am, she settled down and was sleeping when I left for work.....I'm praying nothing happens to her right now.....Gina, love hearing from you! :) HUGS....Vicki
My dreams are always of Douglas when he was younger too. Not current, yet times when he was much younger. Happy you could see those beautiful blue eyes of your Cassi if even for a moment.
Love to Cassi and her mom from Douglas and me,
XO
I have only seen Lisa in dreams once or twice. I always hope for a night visit. One of these days...
I worry about the state of the world. We have accumulated all this knowledge but nobody has figured how to make the world a better place. The American election worries me. A madman in the White House is a distinct possibility. We talked to a guy in Missouri. He said that he had a couple of people from S. Africa in his shop. They told him that they feared for the world if Trump becomes president.
I am with you. I grew up in the church too. I became very disillusioned with the hypocracy. I thought about it and did a bit of reading, I came to the realization that there is a lot of good in the Bible. But the stories are just stories. I do believe there was a charismatic man who went around preaching. His message was pretty cool. Love thy neighbour etc. However I do not believe the heaven and hell stuff. I think religion is a way to try to explain the unexplainable and to control and judge people.
I too am not afraid of the future. What will be will be. I do believe that Lisa exists on another level and I hope that we will be together again.
I have no idea how so many people with so much hate in their hearts call themselves Christian. If there is a hell, I think a lot of them will have a bit of a shock when the go down rather than up! They have no compassion for people who are not like themselves. All the rhetoric about closing borders etc is just sad. Canada has welcomed several thousand Syrian immigrants and we have really had no catastrophic incidents. The problems we have are a result of prejudice. Two mosques were recently vandalized here in Calgary. Instead of getting angry, the Muslims have said that they appreciate all that Canada has done for them and understand that the vandals do not represent most Canadians. They are hosting an open house at the mosque welcoming everyone so that they can have a dialogue. They are responding in the 'Christian' way.
Enough now. Off to bed.
Love to Cassi and her mom
We don't fear the immigrants, we fear Trump!
My son has the greatest blue eyes. I don't dream, that I remember. One day I woke up to someone tickling my toes, it had to be Mike because no one was in the room. I think dreams of our children when they were young are because we remember the fun and innocent times, when we did not think the end was near.

Hi Gina, so happy for you. A dream of our child is an amazing gift. I dream of Eddie at all ages. The dreams of him as an adult feel like true visits so I especially enjoy those but I take a dream of Ed in any form, any time. :)
As much as I enjoy my dream/visits from Ed once I wake up I have the dual reality again. Happiness from seeing him but longing once the dream is over. That being said I'd still rather have dreams of him than not. I miss him anyway.
I am blessed in having my faith to rely on. I came to know God in a personal way as an adult. I am not a big fan of organized religion but rather just try to remember that God loves me and my son so I trust that I will see Eddie again. Until then I know he is in a safe place. This is just what I believe.
Hugs. ♡
Love the dreams...and the few visits I have had. I hate when I awake as I feel anxious and want more...but so thankful!
