Dosage change
Today was a lot better than yesterday.
I went to the VA Hospital in the afternoon to see my pdoc and I expressed everything I wanted to about what was going on. I have 3 major changes I want to have done to my regimen:
Increasing Abilify to 20mg. I am currently on 10mg Abilify and I am still having hypomanic episodes.
Switching Buspar to 15mg twice a day. I am currently taking 10mg three times a day, and it isn't working for me. I was on Buspar at 15mg twice a day when all of this started but the side effects were too much so I was taken off of it. Now my body should be more used to the Buspar so the side effects should be less.
Going on an anti-depressant. I need something to keep me from going into these depressive episodes.
Of course only one change is going to be made at any time to make sure I am ok with each change, the pdoc decided to change the Buspar first. So now I am taking 15mg pills instead of 10mg pills.
We will see how this works!
