doo doo doo doo do do dooo doooo dooo do i'm singing through the pain

wearing actual street clothes.  a simple dress that goes down to my toes, no possibility of wrinkles.....bright colors.  a soft pretty black sweater and slippers.  not like cinderella's slippers......these are baby pink and cushy.  very unglasslike.

hi!

mood is improving 'round here.  not up to going out.....but up to being upright while living within.  very drippy, as in wet face.....not much stamina at all, but the clear headed ness is very noticeable.  quite pleasant.  thank you God!

got chicken in the big skillet.  not fancy, just cut up chicken breasts into strips and coated them in flour, paprika and pepper. not sure why the paprika but it's well........pretty, so in it went!  also made a small pot of shell pasta....added some ready made spaghetti sauce, a bit of butter, and several slices of thin white cheesy deliciousness.  it's already waiting in the frig for a hungry customer.

when the chicken is completely browned it will finish in the oven at 350 degrees.  shouldn't take long to finish it up......got laundry tossing in the dryer and a final load of whites including sheets almost ready for the dryer phase. praying now that i can put the bedding back ON the bed.  maybe i shouldn't confess this, but here goes.  i've been sleeping on top of my comforter for more months than i ever thought possible.  i just didn't want to deal with the whole bed making thing so i went on a quiet yet official (anti-sheet changing) strike.  hah!

but then last week when i felt irreparably (spelling?) cold ---- i slid into those clean white soft sheets, turned the electric mattress pad on and basked in technology.  it heats the body based on areas.......feet, torso, head & shoulders and is divided into six actual quadrants, so were i to have a partner they too could control the heat for their side.  however i noted how close the kitties tucked into me when it was on...so i turned it on for them on the other side.  it was VERY well received.  huh, who knew?   high tech kitties!

chicken is in.....dishes washed.  fresh grape flavored water made.  la la la la la .  it is the little things ya know.  being able to do the littlest things.  the pleasure of doing ----of knowing I CAN.  not everything. but on this day i can take care of me.  refilled the med tray, trash to curb, mail waiting to be opened....saving it cause i got a note from a friend and i want to savor that a bit.

so behind......but i don't want to let those kinds of thoughts clamber all over me.  BACK OFF NEGATIVITY.  take a hike!  feel the tiredness/overall body pain coming in from the east pretty quickly.  finally got the new roku tv to come on.  not sure why it sticks in limbo land...it might be that i need a new dish receiver?  not sure.  but it's finally on.....got it on the HDTV Channel.  the kitties know it's almost dinner time so they are ON TOP OF ME.

they have this conversation daily...."she's gonna forget us".  "she has been LATE lately."  "she may not be feelin' all that but we have certain needs"........"cat foodage in particular." "we can cope with less rubbing....petting, brushing.......general overall loving from that wonky thing, but late meals is intolerable."  "we already reported you to our local cat union no. 474.  captain hardcat will be coming out to deal with you miss lady!"

hardcat?  seriously?  a cat named captain hardcat?  life is kooky.  but i suppose unionization was inevitable......do we have a union?  for the chronically ill?  if not, can we?  we would have to get an animal to run things cause we need our rest.

i'm going to go claim some time in the comfy blue chair.  wish you were here.......the chicken should be good.  but if that's not to your liking we could go get some food and bring it back here and eat.  or eat out.......or just sit down and sleep in place without regrets.

ohhhh the pain front is coming in.  maybe the sheets will land on the bed but more likely they will hang on top of the bedroom door til the cavalry arrives.  yes, cavalry is code for me.  sigh.  wish i had a cavalry.  my very own dudes dressed in fine military wear....on gigantic thundering horses.  the horses can graze in the back.....the dudes can graze inside the house.

so...... what wonky sparrow may have taken leave of her SENSES????  a little bit of feeling alive again is heady stuff.

need to get to a store soon or suffer the lack of fresh stuff.  no negativity lady, as long as you have some chocolate left you are OK!!!!!

love to all and to all a goooood everything.  pray it's not the worst day of days for you, if it's a tough one, please lean in to the pain and find something pleasant to listen to or watch.  be quiet, use a blanket to soften the brunt of this day........and feel the love of your friends surround you when you are in need of comfort and care.

the end.  ...captain hardcat is HERE!  egaddddds, is it too late to hide? move? run for the border?  xoxoxoxoxoxo

So glad you are feeling better, still CFS wonky, but better!
Leftovers for us tonight, but there's a cherry pie on the countertop. I made it earlier today - cherries from a friend's tree that I froze last summer and a scratch crust..... Tiring. I still have dirty dishes in the kitchen! Oh, well.
Calvary on thundering horses (giggle). If they show up at your house, send a contingent of them my way!
