don't want to write but don't know what to do
I have very little vision of how to fix my outlook right now.
I guess instead of thinking about what I should do, I could think
about what I want to do.
Part of me was inspired a moment ago to go the the local english
pub near me... I love the spirit of those places but I am always
not really a full member.
anyways so I will think about what I want to do today - rather than
think in terms of shoulds.
I want to share that I drank some beer yesterday - and it really messed with my sense
of personal discipline and mental health - I think this is a lesson for me
that mental health is waaaayyyyy more important than having a beer.
My little sister turned me on to a non alcoholic beer "Ceria" that is so good.
I think I will look for that in the market.
Anyways, I hope you guys are having a good start to your day.
I guess I'll do some laundry hehe . :)
Peace and good vibes,
Mark

I, too, had a beer with a friend. I have some drinks in my fridge and though I don’t drink all the time I enjoy one every once in a while. And it is such a social thing to do. I think my Europe family turned me on to it.
But yes, with meds it’s trouble. Having one is ok. If I’m in a social setting where everyone’s ordering and ordering I order one then switch to a different non-alcoholic drink. Such is life.
Thanks Nikki !
Absotively, you should be looking more at what you WANT to do than what you SHOULD do. For me, it is a matter of balancing the demands and drains of full-time childcare. For you, it is making better use of that tremendous gift of time you have been given.
A libation from my fridge and one from a public spot are two entirely different experiences. One is merely physical hydration. The other is merely hydration for the soul.
For what it's worth
One of my favorite buttons to push, in whatever language on whatever continent, is the Virgin (alcohol-free) Creation button on the barkeepers. They all seem to have a Virgin button and seem to be uniformly tickled when I ask them to make me one of their personal faves. They have mastered the art of making Virgin drinks look like their more socially acceptable alcoholic cousins. I kinda enjoy playing with the drunks and letting them believe I am as impaired as they are. It's one of the few occasions I feel normal just being myself.
Thanks Arfie!!
