don't know what to do
it's the wee hours of the morning..I woke up and got a coffee when the shop opened.
i've got CNN on and I am drinking coffee..for some reason I can't seem to focus or decide to
do anything and my mind is speeding up as a result. I think this journal is helping me
appreciate things. My life seems so empty but I have a lot to be grateful for...so instead of
just being bored and alone with Blue in the quiet of my suburban apartment, I'll be grateful
and seek out opportunity to help others if I can help or support..Life is strange,
Blue is so friggin bored he's crying a lot! I hope he doesn't wake the neighbors - I'll play
with him too. Peace you guys, I hope your day goes well.
keep on keeping on,
Mark

The part about your mind speeding up as a result of not being able to focus is one of my own psycho ticks. My breakthrough in letting it be okay --and even desirable-- when I can't focus came from watching the movie, "Patch Adams." The eccentric millionaire in that movie is forever holding up two fingers in front of faces and asking, "How many fingers do you see?" He would huff away in disgust when people answered, "Two." A goodly ways into the movie, Robin Williams relaxes his vision to see and answer, "Four."
"! ! !Finally! ! !" the eccentric millionaire declared with a happy dance. "Somebody who can see past the problem to the solutions."
Have you tried carrying Blue out to sit under a tree yet?
So far, so good on this school holiday. More clarinet flavored coffee. The foster kids are amping up but the weather supports outside activity. For now, think I'll have another warm sip.
thanks arfie! I will definitely go to the park later. enjoy the clarinet and this MLK holiday!
Here's to making it work, in the moment!
Thanks Mid!!!
