doin' stuff alone
I think I need to start becoming passionate about following my interests.
By passionate, I mean doing stuff alone and be willing to do whatever it is
that I really want to do. I can still responsible and effective. I just find myself
kind of wallowing in solitude right now, and it's time for changing that.

For me, too much solitude can lead to depression. I hope you aren't getting depressed.
I think it's just an off day. I have made a 'date with myself' to go on the hiking trail near here tomorrow
after work. I'll take photos and then maybe walk over to the Starbucks nearby too.
Thanks Becky. I know what you mean about depression and solitude. I have kind of just been napping
and hiding away today but I go back to work tomorrow and then I'll go for a hike. :)

Hm-m-m-m-m. . . You, MalibuMark, ". . .need to START becoming passionate. . ."? ? ? Did I get a wrong impression again? ? ? I thought I had you pegged as a thoroughly passionate soul who could live without air far more easily than you could live without passion. However, within that impression of you as a passionate person is an element of wonder whether you believe in your passion enough to validate and follow it.
Springing from there, with apology if I am mistaken again, I wonder if your frustration lies in trying to become what you already are. *Just* believe in yourself and let your innate passions guide. I feel like I need to put extra stars on the ***just***. If it was easy, everybody would do it.
