Does anything ever go right?
Well, needless to say, this has been a stressful past two days. It started ok, I guess, but by last night, everything was going downhill. Was cooking for today and left my mother with my pecan pies in the oven as she sat in the kitchen with my sister-in-law while I looked up things she wanted on Amazon. Well, somehow, the oven temperature was far too hot (it wasn't when I made the cornbread for the dressing) and the pies were burnt beyond recognition. She was right there, less than 5 feet away from the oven. So of course, I burnt my thumb getting the burnt pies from the oven and had to make new pies. She sent me to the grocery store... bad idea. It was so crowded, I had a panic attack out in the parking lot, but because I had to replace the pies, I had no choice but go into the crowded grocery store. I broke out in tears both in the grocery store as well after getting back to Mom's house to cook. Then I spilt the new pies as I was trying to put it into the oven. I was so upset, I didn't stay much longer.
Then of course, today... only my youngest brother and his family came over which is what was expected. My seven year old niece jumped up in my lap, which is not a problem. As I held her, she leaned back and giggled. I pulled her up as I didn't want her to fall and hurt her head. Of course, that became a game to her. So she did it again. I got yelled at for causing problems because she was giggling.
This is after I ate too much and had too much sugar, so I was already miserable. I left without taking the leftovers I planned to eat for supper. I've no money to buy any food and nothing in my house (as I have /do/ food here) appeals. I would have money if the darn medical insurance wasn't so expensive. All my money is going for that as they put my 'preminum' date at the end of the month instead of the first of the month when I have money. They expect people with bipolar to not have problems spending money to try to make themselves feel better. Stupid people.
I think I've figured out part of my psychology though on why I am so overweight. I've noticed that I will eat as if it's the only meal I have had in ages and won't have another meal. Granted, in the past there have been times when I couldn't afford groceries.. like now, but didn't have food in the house. I went without, so psychologically, I'm in hoarding mode.
Nothing I can do about it. Insurance won't pay for therapy without copays and gods know, I don't have the money for more medical stuff.
